Kim began playing the piano and singing at age 7. At age 33, when she gave her life to God, she dedicated her music abilities to Him and has been a member of a worship team for church services, prayer meetings, outreaches, and home groups ever since. She has also been involved in many church choir productions. She currently leads worship at Sonship where every week her passion for intimate, powerful corporate worship as well as worship evangelism is expressed through her music ministry. Some of her favorite Christian contemporary music artists include Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Hillsong. Kim also has a great love for the old hymns that she says, “so vividly express the sound doctrines of the gospels” and has been introducing (or, for some, re-introducing) those into the song services. Kim also teaches a women’s bible study in her home. Her husband John is a pastor and elder at Sonship.
